Looking forward to trying this. I haven't heard of buttermilk powder but I've had good luck with using regular milk and a squeeze of lemon (about 1 cup to 1 tbsp) as a substitute. Just let it sit a few minutes and it will start to curdle.

Totally disagree. A certified birth certificate is something most people have anyway. It is required for a lot of other things besides a new license including registering for school, daycare, insurance, passport, etc. A poll tax would be requiring money to register which is not the case.

As a huge Broncos fan, I appreciate the thought, but Denver is not undefeated. They lost their first game to St. Louis. I'm hoping that the Oakland D, not too mention Shanahan's hatred of all things Raiders, will get the Broncos offense going.

I agree with your constitutional argument, however, all of it goes away by the officer saying "I'd like to look in your bag, would you open it for me, please?" I'm willing to bet that this is exactly what the officers are trained to say. So the search is not specific to anything.

Jynne, the terrorist on 9-11 knew exactly what the screeners were checking for and everything they used (as far as I've read) would not have raised a red flag. That's why they used that approach.

Do you understand the idea of a deterrent? The camera up in the corner of the 7-11 probably isn't plugged in, but studies have shown when a camera is present, crime rate goes down by a huge percentage (have a relative who was a manager at K-Mart and it was an internal study based on inventory count …
